Invite to City Hall Art on Loan Project 2009

The Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs invites you to the
Opening Reception for the
Art in City Hall Annex Exhibit
Friday, June 26th from 11:30 – 1 PM
City Hall Annex, 900 Bagby, Level 1 Lobby/Council Reception Area

Once again we are featuring a fabulous art show in the City Hall Annex. Seventy-six new works, representing 52 artists with ties to Houston, have been installed on loan in the Annex close to the elevators on the public level as well as on the first through fourth floors and in various conference rooms and hallways throughout the building.

This reception to celebrate the artists’ work and placement in the Annex will be followed by docent led tours of the artwork throughout the building. Very special thanks to Max Harrison of Gallery M Squared assisted by Jim Prell for serving as volunteer curator for the show.
